Is 22Bet legit? Two licences and one open question
22Bet has run since 2017 under TechSolutions Group N.V. (Curaçao, reg. 144920), managed through TechSolutions (CY) Group Ltd in Cyprus. It holds Curaçao licence 8048/JAZ2017-067 and Kahnawake licence 00882.
The open question is the Curaçao number. 8048/JAZ belongs to the old master-licence system; since 2024 the Curaçao Gaming Authority issues direct OGL/2024/… licences, and no source we checked confirms 22Bet's move to the new regime. The Kahnawake licence adds a second regulator to the file.
On the payout side, casino.guru lists no casino-wide withdrawal cap for EUR, with limits set per payment method. So, is 22Bet legit? Nine years of operation, two licences and uncapped EUR withdrawals say yes; the licence transition is the one item to watch.
22Bet restricted countries and the African accounts
22Bet does not publish a restricted list on a readable page, so the lists come from review sites. They name the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Czechia, Slovakia, Turkey, Israel, Russia, China, Iran and the US. Players in France cannot sign up; from France, Vavada is the straightforward alternative.
None of the French-speaking African markets appears on those lists: Senegal, Cameroon, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, DR Congo, Benin, Togo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Guinea and Madagascar are open. Côte d'Ivoire is the one exception to flag, since an African betting site reports 22Bet as unavailable there; from Abidjan, BC.Game with its XOF wallet is the safer pick.
The site runs in 50+ languages, including French at 22bet.com/fr, and casino.guru lists French among 22 live chat languages.
Funding 22Bet from Dakar, Douala or Kinshasa
22Bet opens accounts in XOF (West African CFA franc), XAF (Central African CFA franc) and CDF (Congolese franc), alongside EUR, USD, CAD and a dozen cryptocurrencies. The minimum deposit is €1, which is 656 FCFA; African sites quote 650 XOF. Nobody else in our list combines a floor that low with a CFA franc balance.
Local currency also makes the bonus numbers readable. The €10 bonus minimum shows as 6,560 FCFA, the €300 cap as 196,787 FCFA, and the €5 max bet as 3,280 FCFA. In Kinshasa, at about 2,601 CDF to the euro, the same €10 minimum is roughly 26,000 Congolese francs. No mental conversion, no exchange margin on every bet.

22Bet disables bonuses on accounts opened in a cryptocurrency. If you want the welcome offer, choose XOF, XAF, CDF or EUR at sign-up. Mobile money is not confirmed in the cashier, so the practical route from Senegal or Cameroon is to buy USDT with Orange Money or Wave on Binance P2P and deposit over TRC20, as our USDT deposit guide shows; check at the cashier that the deposit converts into your fiat balance. Algerian players should stick to cards and Skrill.
The 22Bet welcome bonus: 100% up to €300 at x50
The first-deposit casino bonus matches 100% up to €300 from a €10 deposit. In some regions it expands into a four-deposit package worth up to €1,500 + 150 FS: 100% up to €300 + 30 FS, then 50% up to €350 + 35 FS, 25% up to €400 + 40 FS and 25% up to €450 + 45 FS.
